Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Sram chainrings will replace your existing chainring and bottom bracket star or replace the direct mount chainring on Sram cranksets, including DUB cranks. The chainring is attached via 3 screws to the rear of the bottom bracket star, near the axle.Details Offset: 3 mm (Boost). Chain line: 52 mm. Tooth profile: Drop-Stop B. Note that Sram Red and Force AXS 12-speed cranksets use a different 8-screw mounting interface, which is not compatible with these chainrings. Fat bikes: if your fat bike has a 170/177 rear hub spacing, use the standard 6 mm offset. Praxis Works Route/CX cranks use a 6 mm offset. Praxis Works mountain bike cranks use a 3 mm offset for their DM-A chainrings and a 0 mm offset for DM-Bs. If you’re using a 9-speed drivetrain, use a 10-speed chain (it shifts and runs well on a 9-speed drivetrain and is more snugly fitted, for better chain retention). Drop-Stop B is optimized forSram 12-speed Transmission (T-Type) and Road Flattop chains, but is compatible with all chains that work with Drop-Stop A. Not compatible with Sram Flattop 12V, Shimano HyperGlide+ 12V or Campagnolo 12V.Recommendations We recommend using a clutch-type rear derailleur for better chain safety. An L-shaped wrench works best, as the bottom bracket axle may come into contact with a socket adapter and prevent it from engaging properly. Use the same 3 screws to secure your Wolf Tooth chainring.
