You won’t feel the oval shape at all.HOW TO MOUNT THE GRAVEL 1X 110/5 OVAL DECK:First, you must remove the crank from the bike. Once removed, unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the two original rings together with a T-30 torx wrench. Remove the two original rings. Place the Absoluteblack oval chainring in place of the large chainring. Note that the small indicator on the plate should be behind the crank arm – the same way the original plate indicates its position. Use the supplied AB bolts to lock the chainring in place using a T-30 torx wrench with a force of about 5-7 Nm. Reassemble your crank on the bike. Done* Always use a new chain with a new chainring
