The Fox 38 fork is the bodybuilt version of its little sister Fox 36, the reference model in Enduro, but optimized for 160 to 180 mm travel.The forks first of all, have many innovations: bleeders which allow to balance the internal pressures of the fork with the external pressures, ramps of circulation air/oil allowing them, a better management of the air pressures but also a lubrication of the upper joints optimized, a new arch offering a rigidity still improved, and finally a system of floating wheel axle which ensures a perfect alignment between the fork and the hub. The Tee-Pivot-Spinner assembly has also been optimized by the brand since the fork features a tapered pivot with a differentiated internal diameter in the shape of an olbonde, a tee whose diameter has been increased to 58 mm and finally 38 mm plungers. It offers excellent sensitivity over small bumps regardless of rider or pressure setting.Similar to our FLOAT shocks, the new FLOAT system features self-balancing negative and positive chambers. This provides the appropriate pressure for each rider. The progressiveness of the damping curve is adjustable with air volume spacers so riders can fine-tune the behavior of the air shock.
